ABOUT KIAE :
KONARK INTERNATIONAL ART EXHIBITION : KIAE is a project by International art experts to find the new emerging artists from all over world and to provide them global platform and to bring awareness about the Art and CULTURAL HERITAGE of ODISHA and India through Konark Sun Temple , the World Heritage Site.
MISSION:
To create new global awareness about Indian rich culture and heritage among artists with new approach to use art in more impactful way for a better world.
VISION :
To Understand the past cultural and heritage of India and to learn and get inspiration to develop a futuristic and innovative mindset among new generation artists and to have collaboration with society and day to day life with art to serve and bring changes in society for a better future.
RULES AND REGULATIONS :
The project is for artists from all over world. They need to apply according to various category and one can submit maximum three works. There will be a selection process with international Jury Pannel. And the Selection will be held in two phases which includes video conference.
The selected artists has to go through both phases of selection process. The selected artists will have a Gallery Exhibition . There will be four exhibitions in four different months in two cities, Bhubaneswar and Puri , India’s most culturally rich places of India. Each exhibition will be 15 days duration. And after getting selected we will inform selected artists about the date and venue of the exhibition 20 days prior so that they can get enough time to plan and send their work to the gallery.
AWARDS AND BENEFITS :
- The winner get a 15 days fully sponsored Art Residency and a solo exhibition in Kalanirvana Art Gallery, India. ( Worth 2000 $ USD)
2. Top 20 artists will get 7 or 15 DAYS 50% sponsored Art Residency and Exhibition. [ Indian artists 7 days and foreign artists 15 days ].
3. All selected artists will get Catalog, Kalanirvana International Certificate and 1 years of free mentorship and career guidance and global exposure.
Note : The prizes will be given as Artists Residency and can not be exchanged with cash.
HOW TO APPLY:
Theme : NO THEME
Size Restriction : 3 feet x 2 feet maximum size. ( minimum it should be 1 feet x 1 feet)
- CREATE YOUR BIODATA/ RESUME IN WORD OR PDF FILE.
- . SELECT BEST 3 ART WORKS in .jpeg format with minimum 2mb size. ( please mention title,size and medium )
- SEND THE ABOVE to our EMAIL : kiae.kiac@gmail.com before 25th December 2022.
EXHIBITION RULE : EACH SELECTED ARTIST WILL HAVE 12 DAYS EXHIBITION
After artists get selected the participation fee for exhibition is Rs 2500 per selected art. And artist need to submit the fee within 7 days of selection mail.
There will be four different exhibitions in four different months in two venues, ie. Bhubaneswar and Puri. Artists will be informed 20 days before the exhibition day to send the art works to the address of art submission venue.
COMMISSION :
If any artwork get sold the Artist get 80% and KIAE organizers take 20% commission on the sold price.
WHO SHOULD APPLY :
Anyone from any part of world with minimum 18 years with minimum 2 years or above experience in ART and should have original concept, idea, style, subject, approach etc.
